Brooklyn · Est. Craft Wine Bar
We pour wines that
demand to be noticed.
A curated wine bar on Marcus Garvey Blvd where every bottle is selected for character, every pour is intentional, and the night unfolds at its own pace.
Our Story
Wine isn't just what's in the glass.
It's the moment around it.
Frog Wine Bar was born from a simple conviction: that the best wine experiences happen when the pressure is off and the selection is sharp. We're not a tasting room with a menu. We're not a restaurant that does wine. We're a bar where wine is the entire point — and everything else exists to support it.
Located on Marcus Garvey Blvd in the heart of Brooklyn, we curate a rotating list that leans toward the unusual, the small-production, the bottles you'll remember and the ones you'll recommend before you've finished the first glass.
The Selection
What we pour
this season
Our list changes with the harvest, the mood, and the bottles that find us. Here's what's driving the conversation right now.
Light, sharp, and easy to stay with
From the crisp Alsace rieslings that start the night to the natural rosés that carry it forward — whites and rosés that don't apologize for being bold.
- Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc
- Puglia Verdeca
- Santorini Assyrtiko
- Provence Rosé — dry, mineral, precise
Bottles with backbone and stories worth telling
Our reds are the reason people stay late. We favor small producers, old-vine material, and regions that don't make it onto every other wine list in the city.
- Piedmont Nebbiolo — structured, ethereal
- Beaujolais Cru — bright, food-friendly
- Alentejo Tempranillo — unexpected, rich
- Washington Syrah — dark, savory, serious
For the curious — wines that challenge and reward
If you've ever wondered what "natural wine" actually means, start here. These are wines made with minimal intervention, fermented with wild yeast, and bottled with intention.
- Orange wine — skin-contact Chenin
- Carbonic maceration Gamay
- Amphora-aged blend
- Unfined, unfiltered, unforgettable
Our full list is always available in-house and changes weekly.
Ask Us on the PhoneThe Space
Designed for lingering.
Built for conversation.
The interior is restrained by design — deep teal walls, warm wood, low light that makes every glass look better than it has any right to. There's room to spread out, room to tuck into a corner, and just enough buzz to feel like something is happening without drowning out the person you're with.
Whether you're here for a solo pour after work, a date night, or a group that wants to move through the list at their own pace — the space adjusts to you.
"The kind of place where you order one glass and end up staying for three. The staff actually knows the wines, the selection is fearless, and the atmosphere makes you want to slow down. This is what a wine bar should be."
